Now in its third generation of business, Luck Stone is adding Charles Luck Stone Centers in several locations. At these centers, architects and designers can learn about the wide variety of stone products the company acquires from all over the world. This brand-awareness booklet by Werner Design Werks depicts the legacy of Luck Stone, in addition to emphasizing qualities inherent in the products themselves.
Titled “Explore,” the booklet includes engaging tip-ins, multiple
paper stocks and appealing special effects. As useful as it is beautiful,
it also offers reference information about marble, granite,
slate, limestone and other materials. Historic images blend with
modern photographs to portray an experienced company that is
also forward-thinking.
Art director Sharon Werner adds, “The book is meant to feel
like a piece of heritage. Stone is the epitome of longevity and durability,
as well as quality and beauty. We wanted to convey that
Charles Luck, the man, has always been interested in stone and
that the love of stone truly is in the blood of everyone at the company.”
